The Argolis Tour Participants of this tour will have an afternoon and a morning free in order to see more of the picturesque town of Nafplion, in this way providing a more leisurely trip.
	1st day Depart in the morning (08h45) by the coastal road along the Saronic Gulf to the Corinth Canal, which connects the Aegean Sea with the Ionian Sea. After a shortstop drive to Mycenae, the Homeric city 'rich in gold' of the ancient poets and visit the Lion's Gate, the Cyclopean Walls and the Royal Tombs. Then continue through the fertile plain of Argolis to the lovely town of Nafplion nestling at the foot of a cliff crowned by the Venetian fortress of Palamidi. Free afternoon. Overnight stay in Nafplion.
	2nd day Free morning where you may go for a walk through the old city with its neoclassic houses and picturesque streets. Around noon depart for Epidaurus to visit the ancient theatre known for its excellent acoustics. Return to Athens where arrival is expected late afternoon.
