Morning Sightseeing tour of Athens, which gives you the opportunity to observe the contrasts which make Athens such an interesting city; visit the most famous sights, including a visit to the spectacular Acropolis. Afternoon at leisure.   Overnight in Athens

 

Mycenae & Epidaurus

Leave in the morning and drive to the Corinth Canal. After a short stop drive on to Epidaurus and visit the ancient theatre famous for its outstanding acoustics. Then onwards to Nafplion for a short visit and continue through the plain of Argos to Mycenae. Visit the archaeological site and the Tomb of Agamemnon. In the afternoon depart for Olympia, the cradle of the Olympic Games. Overnight in Olympia Note: This excursion might take place in a different order i.e. first Mycenae and then Epidaurus.

Olympia

In the morning visit Olympia, home of the first Olympic Games; the archaeological site with the temples of Zeus and Hera, the Stadium and the archaeological museum. Then depart for Delphi, driving though the plains of the provinces of Ilia and Achaia, cross the Corinthian Bay over the new bridge from Rio to Antirio and continue along the coastal road passing by the picturesque towns of Nafpaktos and Itea. In the morning visit the archaeological site and museum of Delphi, featuring the bronze statue of the Charioteer amongst many other ancient treasures. Via Central Greece drive to Kalambaka, a small town located at the foot of majestic rocks and crowned by the Meteora monasteries. Overnight in Kalambaka

Meteora

 

Visit the breathtaking monasteries of Meteora. Among striking scenery, perched on top of huge rocks stand ageless monasteries with exquisite treasures of Byzantine art. Return to Athens passing by the monument of Leonidas at Thermopylae. Arrival in Athens is expected late afternoon. Overnight in Athens

Santorini

Early morning transfer from your hotel to the port of Piraeus for embarkation to Santorini, one of the most beautiful and dramatic places on earth. Upon arrival transfer is arranged to your hotel. The remaining of the day at leisure; wander through the cobbled streets and enjoy the awesome view of the Caldera and the Aegean Sea. Overnight in Santorini

Volcano - Hot Springs - Oia Sunset

After transfer by coach to the port you will board a traditional boat that will sail to the lava islet of Nea Kameni. Here you will disembark and walk an ascending soil path to the crater of the still active Volcano.  Make sure that you wear comfortable walking shoes and bring along a bottle of water! Back on the boat sail to the second lava islet called Palea Kameni, where the Hot Springs are located. You can have a swim in the green sulphur waters or even take a bath in the warm therapeutic mud.  The next stop (one hour and 10 min) where you will disembark is the beautiful and traditional island of Thirassia .  Here you can swim at the beach next to the port or you can visit the traditional village Manolas getting there by winding stairs, either walking or riding a donkey.   Oia is the last destination. You will leave the boat at Armeni, the small traditional port of Oia and approach Oia village by stairs, either walking or riding a donkey. Oia is built along the rim of the caldera wall; you can stroll around in the village and enjoy the magnificent panoramic view, the traditional architecture, the art galleries, the romantic coffee shops, and the spectacular colourful sunset. Fifteen minutes after the sunset you depart from the village square to return to your departure point. . Overnight in Santorini Notes:  On the boat you can have refreshments, mineral water, snacks and Greek specialities for lunch. This cruise is subject to the weather conditions.
