Come and join us for a week of Hatha Yoga on Paros,
one of the most beautiful islands of Greece.
Yoga helps you to be in better contact with your body. You don't need to be 'super-fit' to do yoga. Everybody has stronger and weaker parts in his body. By paying a lot of attention to this while doing the yoga-poses, and by continuing this attention throughout the day, you will reach a better balance.
Over 35 years experience with yoga and over 12 years experience in teaching yoga and an associated member of the Society of Yoga teachers of The Netherlands, member of the European Yoga Federation, Oona Giesen started teaching Iyengar based Hatha Yoga more than 10 years ago, in 1996, both in Amsterdam/The Netherlands, and on the island Paros in Greece. Although she has a slightly softer approach, you can feel the influences of B.K.S. Iyengar in her classes.
The Hatha Yoga courses offered have duration of 1 week (no classes on Wednesday).
Classes will be 2 1/2 hour every morning, and every other day additional 1 1/2 hour classes in the afternoon. The rest of the day is free for yourself, to join other activities or to enjoy the island.
The level of the exercises can be adapted to personal possibilities.
The groups will be limited in size (maximum 10 persons) so that individual attention can be given to everyone. You can also organize your own group and contact us to find a suitable schedule.
